Australian conservatives claim that according to an “expert” homosexuals have up to 20 000 partners in the course of their sexually active life.
Beside this the article reads as if it was written during the 80s when people still thought that AIDS is a gay disease that is only passed on amongst homosexuals and that being homosexual meant that you could not live in a monogamous relationship but rather tried to sleep with everyone who happened to cross your way.
The discussion about this topic came up after councilor Rosalie Crestani tried to pass a law in her local government which would forbid the mentioning of LGBT issues and the holding of diversity training.
